About the farm
Our family business is located in the heart of the Rhön, near Fulda, and is run by the fourth generation. The farm has been farmed organically for over 30 years and belongs to the “GÄA” cultivation association. The farm areas comprise 32.50 ha of arable land and 24 ha of grassland. Winter and summer cereals, legumes, potatoes and clover grass are grown. The farm also includes 100 fattening pigs of the Swabian-Hallish landrace, as well as 8 suckler cows and 45 fattening cattle. Another important pillar is direct marketing. Here, the farm’s own meat, sausages and potatoes are marketed via farm shops and weekly markets in the Rhine-Main area.

I am part of the PFN because I am excited to work together with other colleagues on practical solutions for sustainable organic farming.
